here is a site to help those who may need a little advice on the world of music making. it has many entry level articles on midi/soundcards/home studio/software/hardware/ the lot basicaly :)

it also has stuff for the not so newbies as well. it is hooked up to a shop so use some of the advice at your own disgression but on the whole i found it imensly helpfull.
