you can use the DIT4096 from texas. Make a search on their website, and look at the datasheet, there's a schematic in it.

you need an ADC for this one. (analog -> ADC -> I2S -> DIT4096 -> SPDIF)

mmm but I don't know if yo need a local dealer, as the sample come from factory!! it's ship via UPS or fedex usualy.

I can maybe order sample for you and send you them. Or maybe you can find the crystal chip (this is the easier way to do what you want, as long as you can find those CS chip...), try http://www.findchips.com

Hi Pilo and Gles!

Any news with the quality of the TI pcm board you(pilo) said you'd test?

Or with the new pcb someone mentioned?

In fact are there any news on the 10k1 project?

I'm about to buy a soldering station to be able to do smd and after that I'm willing to do any kind of testing!

c'mon! don't give up!

hehe we don't give up :)

I'm not "working" on sblive anymore, as I'm going to make an adat AD converter. But I use it to test some pcm1804 pcb, and it works great! but it's hard to solder the pcm1804... if you need balanced input you can use it with some caps and it will work :)

for the sound quality I can't say much as I only test them quickly, with the audio out of my cd rom drive... I wait for gilles' tests ;)
