SamB59 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Hi,I'm starting the design of a ( i hope ) MB64E to control plugins. The main goal is to virtually control a full channel strip composed by an EQ, a compressor and 4 aux sends.I need 16 rotary encoders and 11 buttons.Reading the MB64E pages, I understood that I can control 8 pages of 16 encoders ( 8 channels of my sequencer ). So if I use banksticks, I can control more channels. No ?If this is ok, what about buttons. When I change a page in the menu to switch to another channel, my 11 buttons follow the encoders in the same way or not ?Thanks in advance an excuse my poor english. It's hard for me to understand correctly informations written here and it's hard to explain my problems :) Quote
TK. Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Unfortunately button functions are not mappable in this application, but it should be easy to program a C based application which is fully customized to your requirements. We had many postings about this topic in the past, and probably some people already developed such applications?Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
SamB59 Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 Thanks a lot,I'm exploring others ways to do nearly the same without C programming. Make a midibox is already a big challenge :) Quote
