Does anyone know what to do to use the LTC.

I see that j11 of the core is the connection, and I know the optocoupler must not be stuffed.

Has anyone tried the possibility of switching between the LTC and regular midi inputs?

Does anyone think it is possible to just bypass the optocoupler by using a switch at pin #6 ?

Hello LO!

I was wondering if there was any problems with just using a switch at pin #6 to bypass the optocoupler.

I want to do this so that I am able to choose whether I can run with MIOS on a COM port or be able to direct connect to my outboard gear with MIDI.

The main reason is that I need to control my project from a laptop that doesn't have a 15pin Joystick port. However, it does have a COM port :)

I wonder if it would be possible to make a COM-to-MIDI MIDIBox? I can't imagine it being terribly difficult, MIDI is serial anyway, if the baud rate is the same, it's just a matter of moving a few bits around (pardon the pun)

Ha, Well just use the LTC its the same thing without moving all those bits. I was just wondering if anyone had used both at the same time in a setup, I am interested in trying it out.

Thanks for the humor, I needed it.
