Filch Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 My base MB-6582 is complete, and so is most of my control surface, except for the LEDs. I can't do the LED's yet until the group buy on PT-10 cases and panels by Doug is finished. So in the meantime, I intend to use my newly acquired BCR2000 as the control surface for now. Before I delve into doing this programming and waste time, I want to know if anyone has already programmed a BCR for this yet?I know I'm going to have some midi questions coming up, and I'm going to start with a quick reference type of question. Can someone tell me what the difference between Sysex and NRPN is?
lylehaze Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 Sure!Jeff will explain it to you.http://home.roadrunner.com/~jgglatt/tech/midispec.htmI have programmed my BCR-2000 to control the MB Mixer, but not a SID. It's not hard to muck about manually, Ihave never used their software.First lesson, learn to save the "current setup" by SysEx.Then you can proceed without fear.Have Fun,LyleHaze
