a question about adobe audition

Audition3 says it only supports 8 tracks of outboard control, is there anyway to get around this? I found some good deals on parts and would really like to have 16 tracks at hand.  Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply, Sorry about the lack of info.(I'm new to all this) I went back to the post I had read and it turned out to be an older version that was being talked about.  I waded through the phone support at Adobe and they said that this has been remedied and Audition 3 will allow more than the basic 8 channels.  Yee haw, on to the planning and more reading to hopefully answer all my other dumb questions without having to clutter up the forum
