Hi,

I have a wall adapter lying around that delivers 700mA, will i be able to use this? or do i need changes in the design, or maybe even a new adapter?

thanks,

Joey.

For what?

Mostly it is stated in the schematics, how much current you will need.

A MB64 e.g. requires about 300-500mA and a LC (with motorfaders) more than 1A.

I'm building a mios based box, with 24  pots, 60 buttons and 2 encoders. I will not use a LCD.

The scematics say i need 500mA

Without the LCD (it drains the most current - with the backlight on about 200-300 mA) you will need nearly nothing. I assume you will have some LEDs?

However, the current will definitely be under 300 mA without a LCD! So have fun with that adapter! :D
