Posted July 30, 2003 Report Share Posted July 30, 2003 Here the current status of Steve's MIDIbox LC - he wrote:the first page shows pics of the 'shock absorber'which is just a flat piece of rubber in between frontpanel, and the faderbodies, and the arrow points tohow far the rubber strip protrudes into the slot. (theslot is a few mm oversized) There are some generalconstruction pics, including the simple wooden box,made of cheap materials, not very pretty!the second page is pics of how the cheap buttons areattached to the front panel, these tactile buttonshave extremely long life, but are fiddly to mount, andyou need to purchase veroboard, but you already knewthat!the last pic is of the almost finished midibox NG LCemulation!!note that I kinda made errors when deciding where thebuttons and LED's go on the right hand side of thebox, there are enough there, but the LED's are not inideal positions.
