what to order at microchip for my sid

hi there im building a stage c sid with one sid chip in it, i was wandering what samples i should order at microchip:

i already have this in my cart :

24LC256-I/MF 3  (memorystick)

PIC18F452-I/P 1  (pic)

can i use variations of the memorystick chip  which ones are compatible with eachother ?

and are there any other chips for my project that i can order there?

You could choose the 512, which also works. Or you go for the SMD version of the 256, which is a bit tricky to solder but fits nicely for an external bankstick.

Take 3 of everything. You can easily fry one of the PICs, then it's good to have a spare part... or you might want more of these MIOS applications  ;D
