Hi,

today I have noticed, that some buttons on my sammichSID are not working (Up & F3).

After quick investigation I discovered that RN1 & RN3 elements are soldered in wrong direction  .

Is it possible to solve this problem by redefine buttons & recompile sammichSID source or I have to desolder this elements ?

I'm not skilled in soldering, so I'm not shure if I'm abble to desolder elements without damage to PCB ...

Regards,

Przemek

Unfortunately there is no way you can fix this in software. The only solution is desoldering them. The safest way to desolder them is to cut them with wire cutters so each pin is separate, and then desolder each pin one at a time. I would do this one pin at a time, i.e. cut, desolder, cut, desolder... so when you cut it, it's just one pin at the end with room to move.

If you cannot find these resistor networks locally, I can post you some more. Just email me with a postal address.
