1st if I buy the module from smashtv will i have to do any other software/configuration prep work

or can i plug the modules straight in plug the usb into the pc and it recognise all the buttons/faders/encoders ?

If you're asking those questions you're going to need to do a lot more reading, both on this forum, the wiki and at ucapps.de

The midibox platform (MBHP) runs applications on either a Core8 or Core32 module. Check this page http://ucapps.de/mios32_download.html for a list of released applications for the Core32.

Check this page/folder for code/apps and tutorials. The tutorials are good! http://svnmios.midibox.org/listing.php?repname=svn.mios32&path=%2Ftrunk%2Fapps%2F

This page will explain setting up the toolchain: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=windows_mios32_toolchain_core

Thanks findbuddha for the reply, i have been looking at the examples "MIOS32 C Interface" think its the same as the tutorials page, the system i would like to build will use all 128 of the digital in's (be good if there was slightly more so i could use all encoders and switches instead of pots) and 1 fader for fading between decks, thank you heaps for the links :), and any further help is much appreciated.

kind regards Highpow3rpc
