How far is the AOUT module?

Now please dont get me wrong, im not trying to rush anyone (i couldnt do what u do in a million years! :D) but i was just curious. A lot of idea's floating around here are based on VCA's and Mios or the future AOUT module. So i think there are a lot of people who whant to know the status of this project.

Ps. please say it will take a couple of years, so i dont get all excited and stay up all night with impossible midibox idea's and visions  ;)

Currently I'm trying to solve all open issues before I start with new projects (which naturally produce new issues ;-))
