Duggle Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I'm wondering about using the encoder 1..16 push switches as step pushbutton functions1..16 I dont know how the ergonomics will be? Anyone tried this? I guess the drawback would be that it is hard to push the encoder knob without turning it a little? I building a "mockup" MBSEQV4 to explore before building a full featured one with CS PCB and nice case (group buy one looks great for this, btw).
Hawkeye Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 if you ask me, i would not recommend that from an ergonomics perspective... input accelleration (new FAST2 feature) should be very fine though.

Ahh! Now I understand why the encoder push function contacts are wired in parallel in Wilba's CS PCB!
