Duggle Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 I'm wondering about using the encoder 1..16 push switches as step pushbutton functions1..16 I dont know how the ergonomics will be? Anyone tried this? I guess the drawback would be that it is hard to push the encoder knob without turning it a little? I building a "mockup" MBSEQV4 to explore before building a full featured one with CS PCB and nice case (group buy one looks great for this, btw). Quote
Hawkeye Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 if you ask me, i would not recommend that from an ergonomics perspective... input accelleration (new FAST2 feature) should be very fine though. Quote

Ahh! Now I understand why the encoder push function contacts are wired in parallel in Wilba's CS PCB! Quote
Hawkeye Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Wilba had prophetic foresight, as usual :) Quote
