Guest DavidChristopher
So I orded a nice new graphical LCD from this guy on eBay. Instead, I got a pair of 16x2 from DataVision. Here's the datasheet I found, it seems to match:http://www.dst-gmbh.de/dvkat/dv16244.pdfThe question is, can these be used with MIOS? I actually want to build an LC clone(Actually, much much more than a clone)Help?

Steven_C
If you didn't get what the guy said he was selling, then you should explore what action you could take....(yes, there are a few dodgy people using ebay :'()or see if you can sell them to someone else! (but don't lie about the specs!!)These displays are much too small for an LC clone....have a look at the thread "get inspired" under midibox of the week, to see how axel used 2x40 LCD's.... It worked out quite well.... or look at the photos of midibox LC clones in the midibox gallery!good luck, from Steve
Guest DavidChristopher
Yeah... I thought about sending them back, but it took 5 weeks just to recieve them, and I only spent $10 on the pair so I'll just find some other use for them. You're right. There ARE a few 'dodgy' people on eBay. Oh well.
