New LCD display !

hello,

I saw that you're working on a new control display.

I was really interested about building a megamidibox 2 months ago but you have made the new motorfader device and upgrade all the prject ... So I will wait  a moment in order to make my order for all the parts and the front pannel milling. I hope the new display will be great!

I've got questions :

What will be the LCD size?

What will be the functions displayed on?

What do you mean by : skinnable display ? ( A nice looking interface with a small OS ????? I hope so ! )

Is it possible to connect it with the midi 128 and motorfader cores?

Well , I 'm really excited about this new feature.

Hi Damien,

I don't plan to use other LCDs for my own MIDIboxes, but the "Display Plugins" will allow to customize the MIDIbox NG for other display devices: bigger dotmatrix LCDs, graphic LCDs, LED displays --- programming skills are required for such adaptions.

Another thing is the display sharing issue. I hope that with the MIDIbox Link (which will also be available for PIC16F) only one LCD will be necessary.
