tupinamba Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Hi everyone, I cannot get my SEQ v4 to record midi from my s0xb0x... s0xb0x on midi in 1. When I start the s0xb0x pattern (from the s0xb0x on "pattern edit" mode), it starts the SEQ... But it doesn't record any step. Am I forgetting something? Thanks for your help!
jojjelito Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Hi, First check: Are you in run-write mode pattern edit or step-write? Check the Xoxbox manual here for instance. Two: Does your xoxbox output MIDI at all? Check with other gear. The Xoxbox is hand-built so you're not guaranteed a fully functional Xoxbox unless it's been tested. On the other hand, if the sequencer starts when you start your xox there's gotta be some issue with setting up the MB-SEQ for recording... Good luck! J
tupinamba Posted August 25, 2011 Author Report Posted August 25, 2011 Thanks for your fast answer! That was something with the xoxbox... It seems it does not send midi notes when in pattern edit mode, only a midi clock, start and stop. I have to use the track mode. It's less convenient but it works great!
