sylwester
Building MIOS Studio for Linux Here are my instructions for a successful build of MIOS Studio for Linux. I've tested it under Ubuntu 10.04 and it works without any problems. Please note: This requires a little bit of linux knowledge, as the JUCE v1.51 contains a bug in the MIDI port enumeration, which needs to be patched beforehand in order to use MIDI. Prerequisites - GCC Toolchain and GNU essential utilities (Package "build-essential" for Debian / Ubuntu) - Subversion (svn) - Copy of the trunk of the MIOS32 repository (svn://svnmios.midibox.org/mios32/trunk) - Copy of JUCE v1.51 (http://www.rawmaterialsoftware.com/juce.php) (Placeholder - Work in Progress. Please stay tuned.) For now, I'm able to provide a binary x86-64 release of the 2.2.2 version (see attachment). The MD5 Checksum of this file is is: d43ad373bb8b5c4ca856a4e4e5c0561a SHA1 Checksum: 11b4481193196ea675ded51f678c1e2740586e28 Update: Official Binaries for Linux are provided by TK on ucapps.de in the MIOS Studio section! Thanks TK. Edited September 7, 2011 by sylwester
