deadpoet
Hi there, I'm finally continuing my quest for the motorised analog desk (). Been assembling the modules (core, din and mf) and I stumbled on something that I think I did not understand wel... On connecting the motorfaders, am I correct to assume the following: (deducted from http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_mf_interconnections.pdf and http://www.familygate.eu/alps/PDF/RSAON11M9_Spec.PDF. I will be using http://www.familygate.eu/alps/PDF/RSA0N12M9_RSAON12M9_10K.pdf) green lines go to '2' in the alps document (the wiper) yellow lines to 't' (touch sensor) red line to '1' (0%) nothing connected to '3' (100%) grey line to the chassis M11,21,31, ... to 'A' (motor positive side) M12,22,32,... to 'B' (motor negative side) Is this correct? My electronics and circuit knowledge is next to zero so I find it strange that I should apply +5V to the '0%' connector... Thanks in advance, Herwig
Screaming_Rabbit
... I find it strange that I should apply +5V to the '0%' connector... The 5V are the "supply" for what gets measured after passing the resistance track, for the position determinement by the processor Greets, Roger
