layers and more layers

I plan to make a controller with 16 buttons/leds and one pot. i need nine layers of these button functions. can anyone help me impliment a layer up/down function? ANYONE? TK?  ???

btw i need to display the present layer number(led disp. or lcd).

Hi, there's no need for layers, you can have two buttons that will change the bank on a bankstick! One for increment and one for decrement.

Now, showing the active bank may be a little problem, but simpler than layers!

Ich would like to have this Layer-Feature, too. But in addition to the Bank-Stick. I´ll see if it is hard to implement with my own program. i´ve no idea yet.

Not only the button functions are switched, but also the appr. LEDs
