Newbie Pot question

Thanks for indulging me . . . I know really NOTHING about pots, so I was hoping someone could give me Digikey and/or Mouser pot part numbers or detailed descriptions for which ones they have used and like on midi boxes. I'm rather overwhelmed by the number to choose from on the Digikey site!

i dont know if i can help u but the good idea is to go around local schools and ask if they can help you with conctruction if you have'nt done it allready. ultimatly you can visit www.rapidelectronics.co.uk i've founded it VERY CHEAP.

tip. if u r putting audio signal through the pots(as well as didital) do not make them cheep. the PIC will compensate any distortion in didital signal after they are weared away but audio signal will be dissapointing
