Alasdair Moon
I got the rotary encoder with pushbutton from voti.nl ... http://www.voti.nl/winkel/catalog.html?SW-ROT-02 for the wilbapanel. Is the push button function usefull?? Or does the current design only support the encoder part. If yes, how can I assign something to them?? Thanks in advance
Hawkeye
Hola, it is very useful - and you can use it for the "push to accelerate" feature... in the photo-tutorial, there is a section regarding the configuration: Many greets and have fun! Alasdair Moon
Hi Macotronic .... if I did understand it well no additional wiring is needed, only chsngement of 2-3 values in the hwconfig file. I got mine fromvoti.nl, but Peter has some Links to some Alps in his tutorial ..
Hawkeye
Yes, the 16mm bourns encoders with tactile switch (i think the voti.nl are bourns encoders) need no "flying wire" and are easier to install than the 12mm alps... Many greets, Peter
