uclaros
Hi all!Has anyone used the traktor scratching function with a midibox??It's a strange thing to controll over midi..I read somewhere that it recieves a controller change value of 64 for slow reverse,63 for a bit faster, 62 even more etc, 65 for a slow forward, 66 for a bit faster etc etc...If so, a special function should be made to be able to controll an encoder just like a vinyl record or the professional dj cdplayers... TK.
Is this the controller number, or the controller value? I guess that controller value, and this means that you just have to configure the encoder to mode "40 +/- speed"(0x40 is the hexadecimal value of 64)From the tutorial:Press the "Right" button to change the mode. Here "40 +/- speed" is selected. In all relative modes the MIDIbox64E doesn't know the absolute value anymore (*), it only sends the commands which increment or decrement the value on the target device. All known variants are available: here 40 +/- speed, which can be handled by software synthesizers from Native Instruments.Traktor is a from NI, isn't it?Best Regards, Thorsten.
