ORA
Hi I'm new here! :) I hope I'm in the right place to ask ... Capacitor 223 is correct in c3_sid, c7_sid, c23_sid, c27_sid and capacitor 474 is correct in c4_sid, c24_sid thanks greetings from mallorca
mex
just a quick answer, dont know from your post if that is even close to what you wanna know :D there are two version of SID chipt out, and they both need different values as filter capacitos to them, so i guess your question is regarding those filter caps. I have mine in sockets, although not ideal connected, i can switch them out quickly to hear the sonic difference, so maybe you could do that too, if not look for your sid datasheet and there it will state the correct value. cheers, i hope that answer is more of an answer to you than confusing :D PS: 223 is probably 22 * 10^3 pF = 22 nF 474 = 47 * 10^4 = 470 nF, i could be wrong in nano or pico, but i am sure you will find that out, the principle remains true Edited February 12, 2021 by mex
