I have an AVR based satalite card with a at90s8515 chip in it. i came accross 1 place that suggested they were compatable, is that true? and if so will the programmer part of the card program the PIC chips i have on order??

BTW, As a student, I am able to order parts as samples. I ordered the PIC16F877-20 (x3) for FREE!!!. I also ordered the PIC16F877A-20 (x3) and was wondering if it would also work, if so i got 6! PIC chips for free...

Hi,

I tried to order both PICs you got the same way you did (samples) but guess what? They won't ship to Brazil... Only to "selected" countries...

And I still haven't found them in Brazil...
