No MIDI data

Hi, ive finished buiding my first MIDIbox and need to upload the MIOS applications.  My PIC was purchaised from smashTV already programmed, and i have been checking all connections throughout building.

Using MidiOX I connected the box to the PC but there is no upload request or any data at all for that matter.  I have followed the points in the 'how to debug midi' page any everything seems as it should be.  (I havent tried the LED test but using a multimeter there is a 25mV surge every 2 seconds across the MIDI out pins?)

I am using the MiniDIN ports on the front panel of my SBAudigy card for MIDI and somehow once managed to send the soletary message "0009DF57   2  --     C0    00    --    1  ---  PC: Acc. Grand Piano" whilst testing for the 5v points.  Any ideas what the problem may be?

Thanks

Dan

Yes thanks, 2 days ago! Found out that once MIDI OX was opened, the MIDI box must be the first thing used in order to receive the upload request every 2 secs.  Every time i had tested the box, i always used a standard MIDI keyboard with the lead to check that everything was working correctly, and then swapped the lead into the MIDI box before testing, which resulted in no MIDI data being received.  By opening the MIDI OX program and then plugging in the MIDI box first, the upload request was received and MIOS sucessfully uploaded to the box!

I have sucessfully uploaded the single pot/fader example, just trying to sort out an application which utilises all 8 pots/faders and the LCD screen.
