creekree Posted April 23, 2004 Report Share Posted April 23, 2004 just a quick question: i finished my core module and hooked nothing except an lcd up to it. i burned the pic18f452 with the bootstrap loader, icprog said i did this successfully.now when i power on the core module the lcd (16*4) lights up but there is absolutely no message on it except for black boxes all over lines 1 and 3.i tried to upload the firmware via midi, but to no avail.what should the display say????i need to know this in order to look for errors.... i bought pre-etched boards so i think my soldering job is ok....i´m confused.creekree Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
