using 1 PSU for all the SIDs type...

Hi!

i have 1 sid 6581 and 2 sid 8580 (currently only one of the 8580 is build...)

i plan to build another 2 sid synth, connecting them in a unique unit. the problem is with the power supply. unfortunately i don't have any C64 PSU unit, and so i have to use a normal wall adapter  power supply.

for the 6581 i was using a 16V 1A powersupply, now with the 8580 a 12V is sufficient.

the problem is: how can i use only one power supply for all the sids? i also plan to build the seqeucner, and i will use the same power supply also for this unit.... if i use the 16V 1A type, will i experience overheating of the current regulator?

or should i left the 6581 SID unused and build only a 2SID-unit with the two 8580?
