Guest def
Hello,I would like to check if my concept will work well with the MIDIBox64 Setup. Here is what I need:- up to 10 rotary encoders with at least 10-bit resolution- about 10 buttons and 10 leds- LTC module to communicate via RS232 port- custom software ( will support MIDI protocol to understand the MIDIBox, but no audio functionality )As I understand it, since I won't use a LCD, I will need to programm the encoders to be used as 14bit volume controlers for example!?! Can this be done over the serial interface?I'm a newbee to MIDI so I need to ask!Thank you for any help/tipps.
pay_c
For a newbie a very hard task!First: No, with the MB64 setup this is not possible. Furhtermore, programming the MB64 without the LCD is very hard!I would stick to the already built stuff (look up in the MIOS Downloads for more).
