bblaze Posted June 13, 2004 Report Share Posted June 13, 2004 hey all.. got my core working.. tested it with the interconnection test.. everything checks out.. all voltages are good. .even the 12v line looks good.. but when i put the chip in, the crystal and sid, get hot! any ideas? Hey, thats analog gear :)I don't see problems so long the voltage at pin 28 is still 12V after power-on. If it's much lower (< 11V...), a soldering error could be the reason.
