dragon Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 When I upload the enc_example 1,2 or 3 encoder connected to SR 1 pins 0 and 1 is working fine (probably the rest are also working, but I haven't soldered them yet). But when I upload Tiny Controller app - nothing. Buttons are working, I can select vol, pan, EQs... but I can't change their values. Enc_speed is also workingI'm using MIOS v1.7 and TC v1.3. Could this some kind of compatibility issue? My guess is that encoder, core and DIN are not the problem, since if something is wrong with them - enc_examples wouldn't work either. Any idea?Thanksdragon Quote
TK. Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 Hi Dragon, yes, you are right, thats a compatibility issue (I didn't know about that...) - it will work when you copy the files from the mios_v1_7/migration directory into the MIDIbox TC directory and rebuild the projectIf this is too complicated, then just wait until the midibox_tc_v1_7 has been uploaded. In the meantime you could try the MIDIbox64E, which is much more powerfull :)Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
dragon Posted July 11, 2004 Author Report Posted July 11, 2004 I've recompiled the TC project as you suggested - with migration files, and received some minor error concerning USER_MIDI_NotifyRx and USER_MIDI_NotifyTx, but after deleting those lines from user_vectors.inc everything went ok and TC is working. Maybe I've lost some functions but haven't noticed anything yet. Problem with 64e was that first encoder is connected to 5th SR, and since I didn't have MPLAB till today, I couldn't change code to suit my hardware (only 1 DIN). But now I can try that alsoThorsten, thanks for helping againdragon Quote
