Guest kostix Posted August 21, 2004 Report Share Posted August 21, 2004 hey guysplease, excuse me for starting a new topic on this same issue i'm havingsome weeks ago, i posted a problem i had, having an incorrect resolution with 24 step encodersthis is the only thing i'm missing for having the sequencer completei have tried all kind of thingsi open MIDIbox64 SEQ.mcp project file within MPLABbefore that, i edited the mios_tables.incchanged the ENC_ENTRY settings to MIOS_ENC_MODE_DETENTED2aswell as changed same entries in the setup_mbseq_v2.asm filethen i run "Make" it makes me the hex filethen i use Perl to convert it to syx filei upload it to the SEQ, start it upencoder resolution is still incorrect ..1 step on the encoder , makes 2 steps on the display, sometimes even more steps ..sometimes it will even jump a whole octave..ok, then i try setting the ENC_ENTRY's to MIOS_ENC_MODE_DETENTED without the "2" same result .. absolutelly nothing happens i even tried using MIOS_ENC_MODE_NON_DETENTED...same thingthis is so desperating this way it is very difficult to set the note i want it to playdoes anyone has any kind of advice ?maybe there is some kind of "speed" setting for encoders or something like that ?am i doing something wrong ?i even tried starting a new project in MPLAB, and loading setup_mbseq_v2.asm, make the changes ..same resultsplease, i seek any kind of advice or knowledge on this :-[i will greatly appreciate any kind of replycheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
