hey guys

please, excuse me for starting a new topic on this same issue i'm having

some weeks ago, i posted a problem i had, having an incorrect resolution with 24 step encoders

this is the only thing i'm missing for having the sequencer complete

i have tried all kind of things

i open MIDIbox64 SEQ.mcp project file within MPLAB

before that, i edited the mios_tables.inc

changed the ENC_ENTRY settings to

MIOS_ENC_MODE_DETENTED2

aswell as changed same entries in the setup_mbseq_v2.asm file

then i run "Make"

it makes me the hex file

then i use Perl to convert it to syx file

i upload it to the SEQ, start it up

encoder resolution is still incorrect ..

1 step on the encoder , makes 2 steps on the display, sometimes even more steps ..

sometimes it will even jump a whole octave..

ok,

then i try setting the ENC_ENTRY's  to MIOS_ENC_MODE_DETENTED    without the "2"

same result .. absolutelly nothing happens

i even tried using  MIOS_ENC_MODE_NON_DETENTED

...

same thing

this is so desperating

this way it is very difficult to set the note i want it to play

does anyone has any kind of advice ?

maybe there is some kind of "speed" setting for encoders or something like that ?

am i doing something wrong ?

i even tried starting a new project in MPLAB, and loading setup_mbseq_v2.asm, make the changes ..

same results

please, i seek any kind of advice or knowledge on this

:-[

i will greatly appreciate any kind of reply

cheers
