Guest fluoroscopic Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 Hey, planning on making a MIDIBox of some sort (will get some practice doing some Forrest Mims projects first) and I am interested in making some type of keyboard controller. Any suggestions for piano-key like switches? Quote

TK. Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 I don't know a manufacturer for keyboard switches who sells single pieces to private people. So, best solution is to search for a cheap keyboard @ Ebay and to enhance it by some additional MIDI stuff.Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote

Guest fluoroscopic Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 A thought that came up after posting is to construct a lever/spring mechanism using reed switches and magnets in the bottom of whatever I use for 'keys'. I don't want actual keyboard keys because I want to arrange them in some other way than on a normal 12 key keyboard. Quote
