Guest Carel Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 This is probably a stupid question :-[ :But which, lin 10k potentiometers can one use ? I've seen a lot of different potmeters, 0,25Watt, 0,4 watt. Does it matter ?! ???And is there away to tell if they are log or lin, without a description? I've bought a ton of potmeters on a flea-market for 8 euro, the only inscription I found was B10kx8. So I wonder, are they log or lin :-XCan any1 help me? Quote

TK. Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 The current consumption of the pots is very low (5V2/10kOhm = 2.5mW), so the smaller pot is ok.Concerning the Log/Lin or A/B issue: see the FAQ http://www.ucapps.de/qa.html#21 (Should I buy linear or logarithmic pots/faders?)Best Regards, Thorsten.
