Guest epochsounds
Hi all. I'm really looking forward to getting my kit and implimenting my dream gear, but I'm a little anxious about getting some things to work how I want them. What I'm most concerned about is tweaking effects setting on my Midibox to go into a computer and a bunch of VSTs and then when I get the sound to just how I want it to then save those parameter setting in my MIDIbox as a patch and then being able to recall those settings whenever I want. Is this a pretty standard operation? I've perused some of the literature and it sounds like banksticks are used for saving various set-ups, like one for Live and one for Logic, so I'm a little unsure if that means that it just stores CC/knob assignments or if CC values are stored too. Any direction in implementing this would be greatly appreciated.
TK.
Hi,the current implementations of MB64/MB64E/MBMF are doing exactly for what you are searching for: each bank contains the whole setup, so not only the "snapshot" of all knob/button values, but also the MIDI events, pot names, pot/button modes, etc...This means that each BankStick can save 16 (MB64) or 8 (MB64E/MBMF) complete setupsAn option for the next release is planned which saves the whole setup only once, and which uses the rest of the BankStick to store 128 snapshots. But this will only be an option which will be disabled by default (so, don't worry ;-))Best Regards, Thorsten.
Guest epochsounds
That next release sounds perfect. When's it coming out?
