Guest Pythuz Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 Hello everyone,First off I would like to say that I'm pretty new here and Ihaven't had time to build anything yet but I had a questionabout the DAC used in the AOUT board. In the parts list you mention that you are looking for acheaper alternative / place to buy the chip, however, Iwas wondering how much more difficult it would be tomultiplex a couple lower cost DACs instead of using theMAX525, for example, using two Microchip MCP4922 dual12-bit DACs as opposed to a single MAX525 quad chip. Also, if you are interested, the datasheet for the MCP4922can be found here:http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/21897a.pdfAlso, one other quick question, does anyone know whatthe voltage levels of a consumer or pro line out?Thank you very much for your help.Sean Quote
