Hi,

I've build 4 core modules and i've programmed them well.

attached a display and all seems to work fine.

now i've build 4 sid modules and connected them to the core ( i've connect only 1 core and 1 sid together)

but how to test that the sid module is working?

any further help and steps I need to take would be nice.

If you haven't already soldered them all together, you should test each core/sid pair separately. Just connect a midi cable to the midi in and plug the line out into a mixer or something and play some notes. Once you have each sid working on its own, then start connecting them up. Remember that the device ID needs to be different for each core(i.e. 00, 01, 02, 03. You can change it with the programmer, or use Tk's change id application. Then load the pre-compiled syx files into each core. They are called: setup_6581_with_cs, setup_6581_slave1, etc.. Just substitute 8580 if you have those sids. Hope this helps
