basta73
Has anyone had any success with LED bargraph displays? Might look good to have bargraphs showing sound signal levels.I'm sure it is very similar to implementing LED rings. Â Where are the pages that show how to implement LED rings? Thanks. Frank
Hi,If you're using Cubase SX, then its possible to display the track meter onto the MB16E' s led ring display. You need to use generic remote and change some parameters in MB16E. I've tried using all 16LED steps to display trk volume, it looks cool but i think displaying too many tracks will eat midi bandwidth.PeaceFrank

basta73
That's a great point. Besides, there's no point repeating what's on the monitor anyway.

pilo
hi!I think maye be displaying sound signal may be cool things! I don't know how Cubase send it, but remember that the midi bandwidth is 31,25Kbps if I'm correct... if the signal is shown on 16 led, and refresh say 20 time per second, you can maybe display 70 or more track on the midi... Yes it will take all the midi bandwidth, but just add another midi out (serial port!!! for example). It could be great because you don't have to display it on the screen and so you always have them on the screen!!! For another topic, when you set the recording level this could be very usefull!!!!! (if you have more than 2 input to record). What do you think?
