Guest biogon Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I´m using a SC-8850 Roland sound module to play Organ music with SCPOP sounds. I have just finished my Syscon-2 module to control and select the stops without a PC. Please, go into my web page and let me know your comments. Go into "MUSIC", "Building a classic MIDI Organ", and look. ;)http://www.jl-pelaez.tk Quote
johnh Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Hi, looks like a nice project. I'm not familiiar with the SYSCON-2. Is there a website with more information? Thanks. Quote
Guest biogon Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Hello, the SYSCON-2 is my own design. You can find the history and description of this module in my web site. I can send you more pics and info. Thanks . Quote

robinfawell Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 For some time I have been involved in a project also using the SC 8850 and the MIOS system to utilise the SCPOP sounds (without a PC). Progress is slow and recently I have been occupied with household projects and unfortunately I cannot return to the project until mid January. So far I have stored the SCPOP files in EEPROM and have more or less figured out how to do the button control to generate the data files to drive the SC 8850. Lots of further work is needed! It is comforting to know that someone else has experience of this task!I agree with you that the simulations are very impressive.Regards Robin Fawell Quote
