Screaming_Rabbit Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 I bought a LVDS flat panel with CRT-converter and inverter. I think they were thought to fit into laptops (exept of the converter). Could it be a problem, when I mount the inverter in the housing right behind the flat panel (like disturbing the picture)? Is it more clever to mount it at the base?Greets, Roger Quote
moebius Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 Hi,Could it be a problem, when I mount the inverter in the housing right behind the flat panel (like disturbing the picture)? Is it more clever to mount it at the base? This isn't CRT ;D, no problems with picture whatsoever ;)Well, a friend of mine is working on his own DIY converter - his display is from an old laptop, and guess what, inverter is actually attached to the backside of the display.Bye, Moebius Quote
Screaming_Rabbit Posted October 24, 2004 Author Report Posted October 24, 2004 Thanks Moebiusinverter is actually attached to the backside of the display... so your friend didn't mount any shielding plate between display and inverter?Roger Quote
moebius Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 no no. Inverter was already placed there in the laptop - so why change that ;)Bye, Moebius Quote
