no 5v power

Hi there!

I just updated my messy breadboard core to a nice clean bought pcb one, the first one was a bit dodgy, had to shake it to get display etc

But, since I have no 5v comming out of the 7805.

When I plug the core in, nothing happens and the 7805 just gets hot. It's a new one from reichelt

Does this sort of thing really happen?

oops, it was a drip of solder that shorted the other side of the 7805...

sorry for the post space :P
