Guest Gurgalax
Ladies and Gentlemen,Currently attempting my first deciphering of LCD Datasheets.I have came across a problem, I am not sure on certain specific pins and their respective pins from the LCD to the CORE Module.I am attempting to connect a DCI202A LCD to the COREdatasheet: www.dciincorporated.com/docs/DCI202A.pdfIm confused on these two connections:1. GND (pin1) connects to which LCD pin on the core2. V5 (pin 3) connects to which LCD pin on the coreand just to be sure the anode of my LCD connects to B- on the core and the cathode on the LCD to B+ on the core? :-/Thanks peeps, I hope these questions arent to retarded from an electronics newbie. There is so much to learn.Felix A. Mercado
moebius
Hi,To save you from further confusion, just wire it exactly like: http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_lcd.pdf (can be found from MBHP LCD module page)BYe, Moebius(LCD pin1 GND, marked as VS on core side, LCD pin3 V5, marked as V0 on core side. And LCD anode is B+ and cathode is B-)
Guest Gurgalax
Thanks moebius,I had looked at that PDF file and the LCD cable PDF file, but the naming convention is different on the datasheet for the LCD pins, so I was a bit confused. You would figure that there would be an internatonal standard for this....I guess if your properly schooled on electronics it makes sense.Appreciate the help,Felix
