SID: what do i do to know if it works?

maybe this could be a "minchiata" (this is Italian guys!! ;D) however: what do i do to know if my SIDs are ok? Is there a way to test 6581s before to put them on mbhp_sid modules? ( unfortunately i have not the other parts of C64)
