SounDuke Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 I found a working ATM1602B in my scrap SEE: http://www.hebeiltd.com.cn/?p=LCM.alphanumeric.blue but I don't know if I can use it. It has an extended temperature range and thereby requires a negative voltage, I've built a core module and 2 dinx4, and I would like to connect this LCD to the core. What do you think?
sjakie Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 I took a quick look, but there is no mention of a negative voltage (it's not in the mini datasheet). Simply 5V supply. It should work as the page says "Built-in controller HD44780 compatible". That one is supported by MIOS.
SounDuke Posted March 6, 2005 Author Report Posted March 6, 2005 I'll give it a try, what scares me is that my display looks a little bit different from the one in the minidatasheet
