Mickey_Sadler
Hi All,I just bought the book Programming and Customizing PICmicro Microcontrollers by Myke Predko and have just started studying it. It comes with a CD of software and a Printed Circuit Board for building a programmer. See http://www.myke.com for more information and for program updates, etc. I think it is a greatbook. Ian_Hurlock
HiI have also been getting into this with the old 16f84.Be careful, it seems some guides to this stuff leave out pertinent information especially when programming in assembly.I went to a site called www.poptronics.com This site has a subscription fee but for mine is the best set up to deal with the TOTAL beginner in this stuff.Their site was being updated just now but it's well worth a look. There is a certain amount of free info also. They also use The JDM and ICProg for the examples.Needless to say I can now get leds to flash all over the place ;) ;)Ian
