Guest Zetor
Hi everybody,I have just finished making core and sid modules as my first ever electronics project and to my great surprise the package plays right out of the production line! :) Many thanks to Thorsten for making this all possible.I'm using the modules with two separate wall adapters, but I think that's one adapter too many and I would like to get along with only one. Could I just put one regulator between 15V (which is needed by SID module) and the core module for dropping the voltage to <10V or how? TK.
Hi Zetor, congratulations! :DYou can use the 15V power-supply for both, the core and the SID module. As less than 100 mA are drawn by the core circuit, the 7805 shouldn't get too hot. I'm also using just one power-supply for my two SID boxes. Best Regards, Thorsten.
