Guest damien
Hello,I've got 3 question for you :)1.Is it possible to add the mtc display 88888888 to the MB lc like the original Mackie? does it require a 2nd core with the last MTC board ?2.Is it possible to add the channel assignement display 88 ( 8 digits leds) to the MB LC ?3.Is it possible to connect a 8 chanel extension to the main MB LC that will be driven like the original Mackie LC desk mixer , without problem of chanel and CC control assignement???Thank you for your answer, And your great work. You make a great work thorsten!!! thank you.PS:Do you think about making the use of the 5" display possible for the midibox LC??? TK.
Hi Damien, when you take a look to this picture: http://www.midibox.org/midibox_lc_photos/47.htmlyou will notice that the MTC and status digits are already displayed :)Unfortunately it isn't possible to add a LC extension without a second core, since the "stupid" protocol demands for a dedicated MIDI interface for each device. :-/ Best Regards, Thorsten. Guest damien
oups...I'm a little blind! I've not seen the TC displayed under the pots setup, on the picture :oYou think about everything thorsten. You're brillant!According what you've said juste before, it's seems to be possible to add an extension to the main Midibox LC but with a second core .Right I think I'll do that way.I'll make a 16 chanels desk so. with two cores ( like 2 Mdibox LC ). But Is it possible to control the extension faders with the main desk selection buttons ( FX, send ,EQ select..)Like in the mackie XT, because the XT has no buttons on the right. http://www.emagic.de/english/products/logic/control/controlXT1.htmlI'm interested in doing such a thing...http://www.emagic.de/english/products/logic/control/bigdesk.htmlbut in a smaller version ... It' would be so nice ! Do you think it's possible :1 Main desk midibox LC clone2 XTThank you for your tips.Damien
TK.
Hi Damien, the XT is controlled by the host application over a second MIDI interface, you are able to setup the host app. on a way that it automatically extends the fader groups - the firmware itself doesn't require any change for this setup. :)Best Regards, Thorsten.
