Milkmansound Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 So, I have played around with this and it seems completely possible to do: use a 9VAC wallwart to power both the core and the SID modules. Just wondering if anyone else has done this? With 9VAC, I can still get the regulated 12V to the SID chip, and I have a 1A tranny in there, so I should be good to go right?The only thing I noticed with this rig is that I have to worry a little about the grounding - but I will figure out a solution. If anyone else does this - please let me know - the original C64 PSU is such a pain in the ass with its fuse buried in the liquid plastic... I thought it would be easier to skip it this time round ;) Quote
