AndrewMartens Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 Cool, this project is somewhat similar to my digital PIC synth project that I'm working on. Though right now I'm hoping to do 4 wavetable oscillators using software-based 24-bit phase accumulators on a single 18F-series PIC. Quote
airmailed Posted August 25, 2005 Author Report Posted August 25, 2005 your pic synth sounds pretty interesting, i like wavetables, pd has good wavetable oscillators, you can draw your own waveforms onscreen, i was thinking i would like to adapt the mios wavetable to accept midi control (it might do this already, i haven't looked that hard at it)i also saw a japanese vst which does wt, the name suggests using a kaos pad to draw waveforms live... the same guy has made an nes synth...and yes moebius, i had a spectrum... it used to overhheat after 2 hours or so and start crashing.i didn't realise that the z80 was still being madehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZX_Spectrum Quote
